Leah Angelo’s paintings are an interplay of weightlessness and richness of contrast; mysterious, multi-layered and with carefully crafted details. She is an international, contemporary abstract artist from Vienna, Austria, exhibiting worldwide in Europe, North America, Southeast Asia and Australia. Leah Angelo coherently uses the phenomenon of transparency, fluctuation and modulation, in terms of form and color.
She studied with the renowned artist Friedenreich Hundertwasser at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, Austria. Leah Angelo emigrated to the USA in 1997, later to Canada, where she painted for nearly two decades. Her works are in private collections among others in America, Austria, Australia, Scotland, Spain. She lives and works in Vienna.
Hanns Palmes works relate to current socio-political events. The euro coin in his pictures is an expression of his political convictions and his attachment to Europe. His work impresses with extraordinary expression and power. They provide impetus and trigger to continually feel and reveal the spiritual spirit of our ever-changing monetary time into the digital age.
He studied at the University of Applied Sciences Advertising, Layout, Advertising Graphics, Strategy and at the University of Political Science and Journalism. As an art director and managing director of advertising agencies, he was always very close to the pulse of art. He is now a public councilor of the ORF in various committees helping shape a free variety of journalistic opinion.
